So comfortable right off the shelf, the Belstaff Fairing leather jacket feels too nice to be a 'proper' motorbike jacket. It is CE level A approved, however – and the calfskin leather is backed up by soft armour in the elbows and shoulders. Elasticated side panels create a comfortable fit in just about any riding position which, paired with the cotton viscose lining, makes for a motorbike jacket that's no problem to wear all day. The leatherwork needs no breaking in but will age beautifully, and the subtle branding adds a little heritage without being brash.
